Order Turkey!

Ben Snyder is the poultry specialist on the Snyder Family Farm.  He raises poultry of all sorts – multiple breeds of chicken, heritage turkeys, and ducks are under his care – as they range freely around the farmstead and nearby pastures and fields.  He has several incubators in his home to increase hatch rates, but he releases the chicks into the farmyard as soon as they are able to take care of themselves.

Ben is raising a small number of turkeys for the holiday season. These turkeys are much tastier than pen-raised turkeys, with larger thighs and darker, richer meat. They are perfect as the main course of your holiday meals. A limited number of these heritage breed turkeys will be available for purchase – they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Whole turkeys come whole, flash-frozen, and cost $5 per pound. Turkey sizes will vary, but will likely be between 14 and 20 pounds.
