Grass-fed ground beef comes from Farmer John Snyder, who takes great pride in his beef cows. He puts his animals on rotating pastures year-round, and in the winter they get hay. His beef, when sold commercially, regularly grades as Prime and Choice.
John is very proud that he’s recently been recognized by the Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program for his environmentally friendly practices, which he’s been committed to for years. You can read more about John Snyder and his farm here.
This ground beef is a premium product. It is 85/15, made from whole cow grind. This means the ground beef is not just trim and fat, but includes all cuts – including prime cuts like ribeye, tri-tip, and filet mignon.
This would typically retail at $8-9/lb, but we have it available for $7.50/lb ($7/lb for orders of 10 lbs or more).
