These healthy goats are raised on hay and grain at John and Bernadette Snyder’s farm near Preston, Minnesota. Due to increased demand for goat in recent years, prices for tasty, high-quality, Minnesota-raised goat are on the rise. This is becoming a luxury item!
A whole goat ($490) is approximately 35-40 pounds of meat, including leg of goat (similar to leg of lamb), ribs, chops, stew meat, and more. A half goat ($250) is approximately 18-20 pounds of meat of similar varieties.
